I create work that casts a flattering light on everyday objects, extending their possibilities towards a framework for deconstructing contemporary experience. By choosing materials that echo the banal, pathetic, and nondescript, I am able to depict my enormous excitement and exuberance for the nature of things, tempered as it is with disappointment and loose ends.
Adrianne was born in Montreal, Canada. She completed her BFA in 2006 at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, with additional studies in NYC at Cooper Union, after a quick segue in Toronto she relocated to San Francisco to pursue graduate studies at the San Francisco Art Institute.
