"Color is a series of optical tricks."

Through small observations of people, particles, pixels, cells and swarms, I measure what seems to be chaotic by using the locality of the human body. A variable in constant motion, the human body acts as a site for measurement and research, which re-envisions the scientific process as an act of personal wondering, wandering, knowledge accumulation and dispersal. I log questions and potentials into the very memory drives of my muscles through acts of mimicry, play and the translation of varied systems upon one another.

I choreograph collective organizations of people like cells, my body sends particles into motion, digitally repeated human forms become chaotic flocks, house dust alchemically turns to meteorites, complete observational accounts mineralize and disperse. These experiments are revealed through videos, installations, photographs and books, which all act as catalysts for communicating what I know about our relationships to each other as humans within, and as a part of nature.
